Data Management, Analysis, & Visualization

Floyd|Snider is a recognized leader in chemical database management. Floyd|Snider hosts large environmental databases in-house, downloads to and uploads from Ecology's Environmental Information Management system (EIM database), and uses interactive tools to plot the data using ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Tableau, R, and Google Earth.

Geographic information systems (GIS) are designed to present information (such as land use, contaminant chemistry, historical features, and habitat characteristics) in a true and reliable geographic context. The linkage of maps and aerials to information-rich databases allows for the full utilization of the information available for decision-making. Floyd|Snider has a proven track record of incorporating the latest GIS, data visualization, and database technologies into our projects.  The graphics we develop for our projects also includes the use of Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop illustrations and CAD graphics through our partnership with Brick Tudor Studios (http://www.bricktudor.com/).

Although we excel at creating beautiful maps and visualizations, our real expertise lies in working closely with clients and other Floyd|Snider staff to understand how the information is linked to decision-making. This allows us to create efficient, customer-focused solutions for exploring and managing complex data to support intelligent decisions and reporting. With expertise in database development, data management, cartography, web-mapping applications, and spatial analysis, we are confident we can develop appropriate and efficient solutions to meet your project requirements.
