Erin Murray

Environmental Scientist

Erin Murray is an environmental scientist with experience providing technical support in environmental investigation, remediation, and regulatory compliance for environmental cleanup and redevelopment projects under Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). Erin has extensive experience developing and implementing strategic sampling and analysis plans and quality assurance project plans that maximize the use of the analytical budget, using tiered chemical analyses, and specifying data collection and laboratory methods that ensure reporting limits less than potential cleanup levels while achieving data quality objectives. Such investigations include sediment, groundwater, and soil sampling programs at sites impacted by various chemicals of concern. Erin also provides permitting and regulatory compliance support to secure federal, state, and local permits. She is also a skilled writer, assisting with and producing Sampling and Analysis Plans, Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Study (RI/FS) reports, Cleanup Action Plans, data reports, and construction and remediation completion reports. She is also skilled in data analysis and research.

Erin also supports Floyd|Snider's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department, expanding the firm's capabilities to provide visually engaging graphics that allow for an intuitive comprehension of complex data trends. Erin has been with Floyd|Snider since 2003 and holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Geography and Natural Resource Management from Western Washington University.
