Megan King, PE

Environmental Engineer

Megan King is a professional environmental engineer experienced in upland and in-water hazardous waste remediation. Her 15 years of technical and project management experience have been applied to various types of environmental cleanup projects, and she has performed consulting services for a variety of clients, including private sector companies, and local and federal agencies. Megan has extensive experience in projects that include dioxins/furans contamination,  the development of Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Studies, remedial design, construction document development, and construction management. Megan is also an experienced facilitator, assisting groups with long-term planning, departmental reorganizations, community outreach, and team-building. Her skills include construction management, remedial design and implementation, strategic planning, and agency and stakeholder negotiations. Megan has worked extensively with both CERCLA and the Model Toxics Control Act and its application to contaminants in soil, sediment, and groundwater.

Megan holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Portland and a Professional Engineering license in the state of Washington.
