Lynn Grochala

Environmental Scientist

Lynn Grochala is an Environmental Scientist with over 15 years of experience in the private environmental consulting industry with a focus on environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, environmental data collection and interpretation, remedial action oversight, and regulatory compliance. She has completed and managed a variety of field activities, including: remedial system pilot testing, construction oversight, operation and maintenance, and compliance sampling; soil boring and monitoring well installation oversight; soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater sampling; soil gas surveys and indoor air sampling; hydraulic conductivity testing; soil excavation oversight; tank removal oversight; and emergency response and assessment.

Lynn has extensive experience managing environmental assessment and cleanup projects, providing regulatory compliance assistance for a variety of client types, and preparing technical reports.  She also has extensive experience completing subsurface investigations to delineate and characterize contaminant plumes for sites impacted with petroleum hydrocarbons and/or chlorinated solvents. She has vast experience designing and conducting oversight for remedial actions that include soil vapor extraction, air sparging, in-situ chemical oxidation, and groundwater extraction and treatment. 

Lynn holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo.
