Civil Engineer

Steve Reimers is a professional civil engineer with over 29 years of engineering and construction experience. Steve's unique background in both consulting engineering and heavy civil construction allows him to bring a balanced perspective and comprehensive set of management skills to a wide variety of civil and environmental projects. He is an experienced and successful manager of large-scale mixed-use commercial real estate projects, contaminated property remediation and redevelopment projects, and heavy civil and geotechnically challenging projects. Steve has provided engineering and strategy for projects involving upland cleanup and redevelopment, sediment remediation, and construction projects for numerous industrial, municipal, and governmental clients. He is a resourceful negotiator and liaison, working closely with regulatory agencies to resolve intricate permitting issues related to historical practices, property purchase and redevelopment, and current operations. He has significant experience supervising and coordinating complex construction management efforts including project planning, critical path scheduling, construction cost estimating, technical submittal preparation and review, construction contract procurement and administration, and change order negotiation.

Steve is an on-call engineer at Floyd|Snider, participating in project strategy development, construction document QC, construction contracting, constructability analyses, and cost estimating. Steve holds an M.S. in Construction Management and Geotechnical Engineering from the University of California-Berkeley and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado.
