Mark Jusayan, LG


Mark Jusayan is a geologist with over 10 years of experience in environmental assessments, site investigations, remediation technologies, environmental compliance, and sediment management. Mark is highly experienced in complex cleanup projects for federal, industrial, and public sector clients in Washington, Oregon, California, and overseas under the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA); Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA); and site-specific cleanup standards.

Mark has provided independent cost estimates, subcontractor procurement, technical review, document preparation, change order negotiation support, and invoice review for various clients. His experience in remedial technologies includes enhanced anaerobic bioremediation, in-pile thermal desorption, in situ chemical oxidation, soil vapor extraction, pump and treat, soil capping, and source/inventory removal in upland soil and marine sediments. In addition, he has extensive understanding of field methods as a field team lead and manager on multiple projects. These include subsurface investigations, groundwater monitoring, seep sampling, rock fracture logging, multi-increment sampling, stream profiling, bioremediation injections, and aquifer performance testing.

Mark holds an undergraduate degree in Earth and Space Sciences from the University of Washington and is a licensed geologist in the State of Washington.
