Floyd|Snider Staff Team with KPFF for Snoqualmie Valley Half Marathon

With summer quickly approaching, runners from Floyd|Snider are tightening their laces to begin training for the Snoqualmie Valley Half Marathon, which will take place on June 10, 2017. Floyd|Snider is teaming with runners from KPFF Special Projects to run the race, with a portion of registration fees and all donations going to the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network, an organization dedicated to building and coordinating community leadership in the Snoqualmie Valley and promoting youth to lead safe, healthy, and successful lives.

Floyd|Snider and KPFF will also be sponsoring the running team by each giving a donation to the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, an organization with a mission committed to preserving the beautiful 1.5 million acres of land between Seattle and Central Washington, also known as the Mountains to Sound Greenway. The Greenway Trust leads and inspires action to conserve and enhance this area, ensuring a long-term balance between people and nature. Currently, bipartisan legislation was just introduced to designate the Mountains to Sound Greenway as a National Heritage Area, which would be the first designation in the Pacific Northwest.

The race ends at the scenic Tolt MacDonald Park, along the Tolt River in Carnation. If your running legs aren’t ready for the challenge, feel free to meet us at the finish line to celebrate, share a beer, and enjoy the scenery!

Participating in fun events that support our environment and local community fits with our firm’s commitment to sustainability and fosters local, community involvement.
