Floyd|Snider Staff to Present at Conference on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments

Floyd|Snider will be represented in two presentations given at the Eight International Conference on Remediation and Management of Contaminated Sediments January 12–15, 2015. Held in New Orleans, the conference is organized and presented by Battelle and sponsors, including public- and private-sector organizations active in environmental assessment, remediation, and management. Dr. Allison Geiselbrecht will present during the Recontamination Session on “Sediment Recontamination Challenges: Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons and Urban Embayments,” which she co-authored with Dr. Gretchen Heavner and Jason Taylor of Floyd|Snider. Megan McCullough, PE, will be presenting as part of the Noncontaminant Stressors Session. Her presentation, entitled “Evaluation of Seafood Waste Remedial Alternatives for the UniSea, Inc. Dutch Harbor Alaska Facility, Negotiations with EPA,” was co-written by Jessi Massingale, PE, of Floyd|Snider, John Nakayama of NewFields, and Gregg Bishop of UniSea, Inc.
