Kim Mahoney is an Environmental Planner with a strong background in environmental review, shoreline permitting, and land use and development. She has managed shoreline permits and SEPA review for many complex and contentious nearshore and in-water development projects, including various pier demolition and reconstruction projects, improvements to waterfront public access opportunities, and the 7 Seas Taproom and Marina reconstruction project in Gig Harbor. Formerly, Kim was a municipal planner and, therefore, keenly understands how shoreline and other local permits are reviewed, processed, and issued; this experience ensures that permit applications are complete and support a focused agency review.
