Project Summary

Floyd|Snider currently supports the City of Bothell (City) at four cleanup sites at different stages of the regulatory cleanup process.

At a former bus barn site with leaking petroleum storage tanks, Floyd|Snider facilitated completion of a site-wide cleanup after multiple prior rounds of interim soil excavations. The site received a No Further Action determination following remediation.

At one former dry cleaner site, Floyd|Snider facilitated targeted data gaps investigation and Ecology approval of a RI/FS and Cleanup Action Plan. Cleanup construction is currently in progress.

At another former dry cleaner site, Floyd|Snider took over management of the existing remediation system to optimize performance, which helped to quickly reduce the mass of dissolved chlorinated volatile organic compounds and shorten the projected time frame for achievement of cleanup levels.

At a former machine shop site, Floyd|Snider assisted the City with reassessing a planned cleanup action with targeted supplemental data collection, resulting in a revised cleanup approach with lower cost and reduced impacts to public space that is equally protective of human health and the environment.
