Brett Beaulieu Presents at the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists Dinner

On January 16, 2014, Brett Beaulieu presented recent findings from his research on arsenic remediation at the B&L Woodwaste Site at a well-attended meeting of the Association of Environmental and Engineering Geologists (AEG) Washington Section in Seattle. Brett described the results of an on-going investigation of in-situ arsenic treatment stability and mechanisms, based on groundwater monitoring and micro-X-ray absorption spectroscopy (ยต-XAS). In addition, Brett presented a summary of the phased cleanup implementation and design decision-making at the B&L Woodwaste Site as a case study of a Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) groundwater arsenic cleanup.
