Floyd|Snider congratulates Emily Jones for earning her Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Washington! Emily completed the non-thesis degree program in June. Her coursework included classes in chemical fate and transport, environmental organic chemistry, sediment transport, risk assessment, hydrology, and water treatment. These topics dovetail with her experience at Floyd|Snider over the last 5 years, where she has worked on a range of complex projects, including: stormwater treatment system selection and design, cleanup level development and remedial action implementation, and site characterization based on research regarding historical industrial processes.
