Floyd|Snider is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Women in Environment (WIE) for 2019. The WIE organization is a non-profit established to foster professional development and growth for women in the environmental field through networking, education, and mentoring.

Lynn Grochala has been a member of the Seattle mentoring committee since it was founded in 2014. She was a mentor from 2014 through 2017 and has acted as “super mentor” since 2018. Kara Hitchko has been a member of the Seattle networking committee since 2012 and the education committee since 2014. She has worked to organize professional development events including workshops and panel events covering topics from technical writing to successful project completion, and networking events ranging from snowshoe outings to happy hour mixers. Several other Floyd|Snider employees have participated in mentoring groups, including Amanda McKay, Pam Osterhout, and Adia Jumper.
