We are very proud to be celebrating our 25^th year! We are extremely grateful to all of you—our clients, employees, colleagues, and teaming partners—who have supported our success.

The company was founded in October 1996 by Dr. Teri Floyd and Kate Snider, PE, with the mission to “provide comprehensive consultation services to assist clients in both defining and achieving long-term objectives for contaminated properties.” Since that time, Floyd|Snider has successfully delivered lasting solutions for hundreds of sites in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

The firm has thoughtfully grown from 3 to 46 staff, maintaining a nimble, collaborative, and creative culture. Our team of scientists, civil and environmental engineers, geologists, planners, facilitators, project managers, and support staff are dedicated to technical excellence. Our staff draw on our core values of proficiency, integrity, dedication, collaboration, agility, and individuality to produce strong project outcomes that meet client goals and regulatory requirements.

For 25 years, we have proudly served our clients in defining and achieving long-term goals for both upland and in-water properties. From small business owners to industrial corporations, private organizations to ports and municipalities, we have served our clients reliably and take pride in the work we have completed for them.

The company was founded on a firm belief in teamwork and interdependence. In 2011, we began an intentional ownership transition process, to ensure continuity of leadership and technical integrity at Floyd|Snider into the future. In 2017, we celebrated Teri Floyd’s retirement. That same year, Floyd|Snider become the first environmental consulting firm in the U.S. to be granted B Corp certification, solidifying our dedication to be a socially responsible company—prioritizing environmental and community outcomes in addition to profitability.

The firm is currently led by Principals Dr. Allison Geiselbrecht, Jessi Massingale, PE, Kate Snider, PE, and CFO Tiffany Volosin, with a strong team of Associate Principals, project managers, technical experts, and support staff. As we move into the future, we look forward to continuing to solve the most complex challenges for our clients and improve the environmental health of the Pacific Northwest. We have a lot of fun within our Floyd|Snider team, and we remain committed to improving the lives of our employees and our communities through volunteering and partnerships.
