Floyd|Snider has worked with clients and teaming partners over the past 30 years to solve some of the toughest environmental challenges on in-water and upland projects across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.

Floyd|Snider was founded in 1996 by Dr. Teri Floyd and Kate Snider, PE, with their first “office” in the Pioneer Square Cherry Street Coffee House. Since then, the firm has grown to more than 50 employees with a strong mix of scientists, engineers, geologists, planners, graphic designers, data specialists, and administrative professionals. We have earned an outstanding reputation for resourceful problem solving, technical proficiency, and strategic project management.

In 2025, we celebrated Kate’s retirement and toasted to our continued success as a team under the leadership of Managing Principals Dr. Allison Geiselbrecht, Jessi Massingale, PE, and Tessa Gardner-Brown, AICP, and CFO Tiffany Volosin.
