Floyd|Snider Gives Back at 2012 Company Retreat

This year, Floyd|Snider held its annual retreat at IslandWood, an environmental learning center on Bainbridge Island. The staff enjoyed a stimulating morning of brain-storming and a warm, sunny afternoon outdoors. Everyone participated in a World Café, where topics such as firm strengths and communication skills were discussed.

After a delicious lunch, which included veggies grown about 100 yards from the dining hall, everyone headed to the garden for an afternoon of community service. Floyd|Snider swarmed the garden classroom, taking on tasks including pruning, hauling compost, transplanting seedlings, and heavy-duty weeding. It was an honor to help with some of the maintenance required for this 255-acre outdoor learning center focused on community involvement, sustainability, and education support for all ages.
