A F|S photo of a PCB field test earned the cover of the Winter 2010 Groundwater Monitoring & Remediation edition. The field test was conducted as part of the In-situ Soil Remediation at Reichhold/SSA Containers Facility in Tacoma, Washington. The purple color shown in the test tube indicates a soil PCB concentration of less than 50 ppm. Way to go Stephen Bentsen and Erin Murray for not only providing environmental engineering services, but also getting great field shots!
