Lisa Meoli Joins Magnolia Historical Society Board

Lisa Meoli has recently become a member of the Magnolia Historical Society board. The Historical Society works to acquire and care for a publicly accessible common-use collection of archives related to the Magnolia neighborhood, as well as the greater Seattle area. Notably, their work has resulted in the publication of two academic quality histories of the Magnolia neighborhood and the creation of an archival collection of Magnolia historical documents at the University of Washington Allen Library Special Collections. As an environmental historian with more than 15 years of experience and a resident of the Magnolia neighborhood, Lisa is excited for this opportunity to work on behalf of the preservation of our local history. Recently, Lisa has led the development of a new branch of services in Historical Research and Analysis at Floyd|Snider and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public History.
