Floyd|Snider was recently selected by the Port of Vancouver to assist the Port in conducting environmental due diligence to support a potential property purchase and future industrial development of a 94-acre property, located adjacent to the riverfront that is zoned for heavy industrial purposes. Floyd|Snider and teaming partners, Ecological Land Services (ELS), EcoInvestigations, and PBS Environmental, will be working with the Port to acquire the necessary permits for in-water sampling, conduct wetland delineations and hazardous building materials assessments, characterize the chemical quality of uplands soil and groundwater and in-water sediment, assess any potential cleanup requirements, and prepare redevelopment conceptual cost estimates, in a manner that best meets the public interest, and the Port’s overall objectives for the property.
