Tessa Gardner-Brown Promoted to Associate Principal

Tessa Gardner-Brown, AICP

Congratulations to Tessa Gardner-Brown, AICP, who was recently promoted to Associate Principal. Since joining Floyd|Snider in 2015, Tessa has meaningfully grown our environmental planning and permitting line of business. Tessa and the team she mentors have delivered many waterfront projects across the Puget Sound, supporting project teams in strategically completing environmental reviews and negotiating the complex and evolving permitting processes for planning, infrastructure, and restoration projects.

Tessa is a Senior Environmental Planner with a strong background in environmental impact assessment, permitting, and complex project management. She has an in-depth knowledge of the strategy, documentation, and regulatory consultation required to move from planning and into project delivery, and excellent working relationships within city and agency systems throughout the Pacific Northwest. Tessa is currently managing the Capitol Lake – Deschutes Estuary Long-Term Management Project Environmental Impact Statement, along with a suite of smaller projects for municipal, port, and private clients. Before joining Floyd|Snider, Tessa held key positions on the State Route 520 Bridge Replacement Project and the Elliott Bay Seawall Project.

At Floyd|Snider, Tessa has been integral in development of our online presence and key to many corporate initiatives focused on quality of work product and collaborative culture. As we celebrate the firm’s 25th anniversary, we are delighted to recognize Tessa as a primary leader for the next era of Floyd|Snider’s growth.
