Nathan Schachtman is a licensed Geologist with experience in site investigations, environmental site assessments, and remediation. He has planned and executed field activities at upland and in-water sites, including drilling oversight and soil logging; monitoring well installation; soil, sub-slab vapor, groundwater, and sediment sampling; and various remedial actions. His professional experience also includes preparing Phase I and II ESAs, RI work plans and reports, and SAPs, as well as operating and maintaining remediation systems on behalf of both public and private-sector clients.

Technical expertise in TPH, CVOC, and PFAS soil, groundwater, and air contamination at highly urbanized sites, often with multiple contributing sources

Comprehensive technical document review and ability to identify critical data gaps and/or unsupported interpretations related to the CSM

Preparation and review of remediation cost estimates, including evaluation of incremental costs for off-site contaminated soil disposal and differentiation of cleanup-related versus redevelopment costs
