Kenneth Moore, Senior Technical Editor, recently received an honor from ASTM International’s Committee E50 on Environmental Assessment, Risk Management and Corrective Action in recognition of his distinguished service.
Dr. Allison Geiselbrecht, Floyd|Snider Principal, took center stage at the ASTM training conducted at the Sediment Management Work Group’s Fall Sponsor Forum in October, as well as at SETAC North America in November.
This year, during the twice annual monitoring event up at the Holden Mine Site, Rio Tinto initiated a student outreach opportunity between Floyd|Snider monitoring staff and the Holden Village Community School.

Floyd|Snider is contracted to the Department of Enterprise Services to lead design and permitting for the Deschutes Estuary Restoration Project, along with KPFF Consulting Engineers and key teaming partners.
Floyd|Snider’s Volunteer and Community Partnership Committee recently held its third annual matching donation drive. This year, we were able to donate almost $8,000 to the Duwamish Tribe and local community organizations such as Community Passageways and Solid Ground.
June 2023 saw completion of a precedent-setting new aquatic habitat restoration project designed to support juvenile salmon migration at Vigor Shipyards (Vigor) on Harbor Island, at the mouth of the Duwamish River.
